To us little people being tall seems a privilege, but to some extremely tall people, unless you get drafted to play in the NBA and earn millions of dollars, being tall is more of a liability. If you are a zombie, one thing’s for sure. You are going to be single for the rest of your… undead life! You cannot date another human being ’cause the person you are going to date for lunch or dinner will end up being your… lunch or dinner. Simple as that. Zombies need love too, from another zombie – of course.

On this site, zombies can literally find undying love. They can find another zombie whom they can do fun things with, such as: gnawing, lumbering, and growling. They can find a partner who can understand them and help them if they feel the urge to chase and feed on a living relative. This site does not give any online dating tips or online dating advices. Zombies simply doesn’t have any use for them.

Seriously, folks! Zombie Harmony is just a marketing gimmick of a free online dating site called Mingle2. Although it’s a bit too inspired by the cheeky marketing ploy of the HBO series “True Blood,” I have to admit that I enjoyed this site. It’s really a funny advertising campaign. They feature city folks weird pictures and intimidating or freaky user names. For me, this particular commercial gives a message that online dating shouldn’t be complicated as city slickers make it. That Farmers.com is more down to earth and honest than any other site.

Group 2 is made up of the nature lovers who are quite laid back, love raising plants/animals, who understand southern hospitality, and have good old fashioned traditional values. These people make up a majority of America’s heartland.

Though the target market of FarmersOnly.com are the farmers, ranchers, agriculture students, cowboys, cowgirls, horse and livestock owners. Nevertheless, despite his alarm bell-sounding slogan, Jerry Miller doesn’t close the doors to non-farmers. Rodeo fans and country wannabes are also welcome. As long as you have those good old fashioned traditional values in you, they’re happy to say, “Howdy Pardner” to you!

BeautifulPeople.com was featured on CTV Toronto, where the site was branded by the critics as shallow and stuck in the stone age. And the anchor made a remark that would make you think twice. “If they were deemed beautiful in the first place, why do they need a website?” She’s got a point!

Kinda reminds me of “American Idol,” where there are thousands of aspirants, but only a handful have real talent worth a lick. It’s kinda like “Hot or Not.com,” except that this one takes itself waaaay too seriously.

Some say it’s superficial (especially the rejected ones), some say they will never give up, others simply don’t care (like me). BeautifulPeople.com is quite a controversial online dating site, and no doubt you’ll find many bruised egos in its wake.

Greg Hodge, the managing director of the site asks: “Is it shallow to want to be with someone you’re attracted to?” I guess not. But still — and again, not that I care — there are people who’d definitely find it elitist, judgmental, subjective, and shallow, most especially by people who wanted to enter this site, but couldn’t. I mean, what a way to get your ego crushed. Greg also mentions that women and men vote differently. Guys vote for pure looks, while women vote according to the over-all picture.

Anyway, if you get rejected, you can always try again. And my only online dating advice to you is to get a very flattering make-over and hire the best photographer (photoshopper?) money can buy..
