Online Dating Tricks

by Billy on January 19, 2010

Here’s a video of a guy sharing a story about  his online dating nightmare. I’m sure some of you have a horrific online dating experience. Like the guy on the video. There are some women who try to trick their online date into meeting with them by using a false picture in their profile. Not only women guys also use this trick.

Okay, the guy may seem a bit shallow. But I don’t think we can blame him on this one. He likes pretty and sexy women and we can’t blame him for it. That’s his preference and he is entitled to it. His date on the other hand lied to him. Big time! If in the first place she told him the truth then they wouldn’t be in an awkward situation where the guy needs to give alibis just to get out from that date, go home, and recover from the shock.

You can’t force a Moslem to eat pork, as well as you can’t force someone to like what they don’t like. If you are going to trick them into meeting you and hope that you can convert them into liking you, then you are being delusional. The thing is, you are not his type, and the worst of it – you lied to him. This goes the same for the guys.

My online dating advice to you, don’t lie to your online dates and fix yourself first before you go online dating with someone. Especially, if you think your appearance is an ultimate date repellent. Do a make over, go on a diet… love yourself.

This is your Online Date Man hoping you’ll never have any horrific dating stories, but if you do, share it with us and let others learn from your experience, happy dating to everyone.

It’s funny, isn’t it?

People think they’ll be more attractive online when they spice things up a bit with some “white lies”. TV show two and a half men spoofed this: Allan Harper pretended to be the chiropractor of the stars, while we was just a chiropractor…

Sure, maybe it will get you more responses online and maybe you’ll even get a woman’s phone number… but this is the brutal truth:

As soon as you’re face to face with a woman on a date? You won’t be able to keep up the lies and even if you do, she won’t like you for who you truly are… she likes your lie.

But as a dating coach I can say that 9 out of 10 times women will discover that you aren’t who you said you were, don’t behave like you did online… and they’ll be gone before you can say “ha!”.

Lying on your profile won’t get you anywhere, because as soon as you go on an actual date… your lie will come to the light. Plus, you need to ask yourself why you’re lying. Maybe it’s because you’re insecure and need to fix your confidence, before it ruins the relationship you’re building with the person who believed the lie.

Insecurities will catch upw tih you, handle those before you handle your online dating success.
