Bizarre Online Dating Site: NoLongerLonely.com

by Billy on December 9, 2009

Once again, it’s Time to feature some bizarre online dating sites. We have featured bizarre online dating sites such as Vampire and zombie online dating sites. Yes, they’re crazy sites, but they’re actually just a marketing gimmicks for other sites, and what I’m going to feature today is not. The site I am talking about is NoLongerLonely.com.

Lonely

NoLongerLonely.com is not only a crazy site, but you have to be totally insane for you to join it, literally! NoLongerLonely.com is an Online Social Community for Adults with Mental Illness! Now, you know why you have to be totally insane before you can join. And I really don’t know how they can manage to control or monitor their members.

NoLongerLonely.com says that social isolation is one of the hallmarks of those with mental illness. It says that they offer a safe and nurturing community that enables new friendships and the possibility of romantic relationships. This site claims that there are people who have found significant others through this site, or have found comfort in sharing their experience through penpal contacts across the US and the rest of the world.

NoLonger

Funny that you’d find different kinds of crazy people on all other well-known online dating sites. My online dating advice to you is that if you manage to meet one, tell them about this site. This is probably where they need to meet their potential partners in life.

So, if you think that this is the site for you (hopefully not). Then it’s time to don your straight jackets and have an insanely bizarre dating experience. This is your Online Date Man hoping you’ll have a great day ahead of you.

What an incredibly immature and insensitive message. You should feel ashamed of yourself. Mental illnesses are biological illnesses. People don’t become mentally through any fault of their own. Truth is this site has helped thousands of people who are fed up with dealing like idiots like you that spew hatred and misunderstanding.

I used to be severelly depressed… and this site, and two of the poeple I met on there, now married, saved… my… life. I am a convert again. The couple I mention are both Mensa or higher members… are very non-violent… and pricks, and schoolyard bullies like yourself… do not stop us. I was against the site for a while, too. I hope for a writer, and found two scammers – but then I grew up. I dated locally… and this place is a HAVEN for talking, and meeting good people. I no longer consider myself mentally ill, but normal. I am a convert to the site – and hate this racist, or – as we call it – bigoted stigma. Go beat up somebody else…or get an education, a masters. Rest in hell; but you’re already There.

no wonder there is so much discrimination and stigma because of cocks like you you sick fuck!

You don’t know what it is like to be bipolar and well medicated. I am normal, but have a difficult time combating the stigma on other dating sites. It’s great to be able to let your hair down and not worry about what others think when on nolongerlonely.com

I strongly urge you to edit your post, as it causes sorrow in my heart that people like you (and I used to be like you) feel this way toward mentally ill sufferers.

A mental illness can happen to anyone at any time….So be careful. You might practice what you preach in the future. Think on that, Billy :)

Hey Billy, I find your comments offensive and completely uneducated ~ what an embarrassment for you. And after comments to this from many here, you continue to leave these comments in place…???

Persons/individuals/human beings whom are struck with these biological illnesses are NO DIFFERENT from YOU OR I. I happened to be struck with high blood pressure ~ my brilliant, IQ 145+ adult son with a thinking disorder that is as controllable with the right meds as my blood pressure issues.

It IS with no doubt THINKING like your that is one BIG problem and creates stigma AND discrimination.

elle Chapman December 29, 2011 at 1:23 pm

Biological brain disorders are NO different than cancer, stroke, heart disease etc…. And the research has been done and continues to find cures for all human ailments.

I hope your ABLE to take something in the area of changed thinking from the comments here ~ ignited by your ignorant post re: dating sights.

If not, I hope you continue to spout your ignorance, things are a changing , good ppl are taking a stand to fight ignorance like yours ~ have you ever experienced being a minority OR does ARCHY BUNKER mean anything to you????
