For Your Online Dating Profile, RECENT PHOTOS PLEASE!!!

by Billy on November 9, 2009

Hi there. This is your Online Date Man and I’m here to talk to you about something really important. If you go to any site which gives online dating advice, you will always see the phrase, “always put most recent photo” in your profile.

It seems that this has always been a mistake of many online daters out there. They always put pictures that look like they were taken by a prototype of the very first ever camera.

Kidding aside, there are many reasons why people love to use old pictures. One is that this is probably their favorite photo because they likely look really good in it. Meaning, this is the only photograph they think they look pretty or handsome and no other photo of them can compare. Another reason is, they are not happy with how they currently look like, and so the old photo comes to the rescue to – literally – save face. And there are many other reasons, but these two are usually on top of the list.

You see, we here at InnoDating.com stress on the importance of recent photos. If you are ashamed of your big belly, then old pictures are not the answer to your problem. Work out! If you think you don’t look good enough, then give yourself a makeover. Don’t even think of Photoshop. You’re only kidding yourself, and your poor online date will just be disappointed in you. And we don’t want that to happen. Right?

Awww... you're so adorable!

Not all women are looking for a six-pack, and same goes for men. There are women out there who want that lovable squeezable man belly. And there are a lot of men who go for the Big Beautiful Women (BBW) type. By using a Photoshopped or old photographs, you are just attracting the wrong people. Which may lead to your eventual disappointment.

So, what again are the solutions to this problem? First, accept and love yourself. Always think that there are people out there who are not shallow and instead will look at your inner beauty. Now, if you are not satisfied with how you look and you want the six-pack abs, or the Hollywood star look, then you know what to do. Work on it and be proud about how you chiseled yourself into a better you.

Remember, the truth hurts, but it will set you free. This is your Online Date Man saying believe in yourself and happy dating!
