BeautifulPeople.com was featured on CTV Toronto, where the site was branded by the critics as shallow and stuck in the stone age. And the anchor made a remark that would make you think twice. “If they were deemed beautiful in the first place, why do they need a website?” She’s got a point!
Here is a video of Fox6 News featuring BeautifulPeople.com. Sherrie Palmeri, the correspondent reporting about BeautifuPeople.com, and some of the news crew sent their application and photographs to see if they would be accepted in the exclusive online dating site. Apparently, not all of them made it through. Fascinating stuff. Watch the report here.
And here’s CNN’s feature on BeautifulPeople.com, where field reporters interview people on what for them is considered ‘beautiful’. Also Richard Quest interviews Greg Hodge, BeautifulPeople.com’s managing director, in his quintessentially British, somewhat sardonic manner.
No matter what some people might think about this online dating site, people are still flocking to it wishing they could be part of this exclusive club. Kinda reminds me of “American Idol,” where there are thousands of aspirants, but only a handful have real talent worth a lick. In the end, it probably won’t hurt (except possibly, your ego) to give it a whirl. Happy dating!
