Hello there. Your Online Date Man is ready to answer some of the interesting questions we received through email. Here’s one which really caught my attention. It’s from a guy named James…
Dear Billy,
What do you think is the best way to stop falling hair? I think it’s the real reason why I can’t get a date. My hairline is receding at a lightning rate and it’s draining the confidence from me. Please help! Thanks.
James
Hi, James. What can stop falling hair? Hmmm… the floor? Listen buddy, I too have a receding hairline. But that doesn’t bother me. In fact, I even shave my head completely from time to time ‘coz some women find it sexy in a Vin Diesel kind of way.
James, it’s like this. You have to take steps to accepting that male pattern baldness for you is probably inevitable and nothing – neither weird massages nor Rogaine — can completely stop its progression. What you need to do is to accept it with arms wide open. Be confident. Lack of confidence is the only reason why you won’t get dates. Guys like Nic Cage, Bruce Willis, and Sean Connery can probably attest to that (of course, their fame and fortune help, too. But let’s not go there).
Anyway, what you should do is to stop focusing on your head and focus on something else you need to develop to boost that dwindling confidence. For example, try power dressing. You’ll attract women by the way you carry yourself and through your snazzy dress sense. Think Sean Puffy Combs. Or work on your personality development by developing a hypnotic, endearing personality trait.
There are a lot of things you can do to get your confidence back. And one important thing you should do is to stop sulking and never think that because your hair is waving goodbye, you’re already a worthless person. I heard a very confident bald guy once claim that “God created many heads; those he didn’t like – he covered ‘em!”
With that, I wish you good luck in getting your confidence back. Most women are not shallow, as long as they know that you are worth the time they spend being with you, they’ll accept you because of who you are and not what you have or what you lack. I hope this online dating advice will help you get back your moxie – if not your hair! Have a great weekend and enjoy it as much as I will!
